A Reputation of Excellence

Douglas Sullivan

Attorney Douglas Sullivan grew up in a military family where his father had a career in the US Air Force. As an Air Force brat, he developed an interest in military history and has immense respect for those men and women who have served our country.

After a life of being transferred to various Air Force bases throughout the United States, Doug obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, double majoring in Political Science and Spanish. He then attended law school in Boston, Massachusetts and earned his Juris Doctorate at New England School of Law.

While still in law school, Doug began working for a law firm that specialized in Social Security disability and Veterans' disability claims'. After law school and passing the Massachusetts bar Doug continued to focus his legal practice in the areas Social Security disability and Veterans' disability.

In 2007 Doug moved to Atlanta, Georgia to work as the managing attorney of Veterans' disability and Social Security disability for over four years with an Atlanta based law firm. Doug has handled over a thousand disability hearings (including both Social Security and Veterans' claims). Doug now continues to represent claimants in Veterans' and Social Security benefits claims with the law firm Stevens & Sullivan, LLC.

If you have questions about a legal matter involving Veterans or Social Security benefits call our office at (404) 467-9017 for a free consultation.
